Research Area (ERA)
What is the Sixth Framework Programme?
The Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP6)
is centred on major research projects with the purpose of integrating effect on
Europe’s research resources. FP6 research projects require that partners
make a much greater commitment to a permanent structural change. The research
will be focused on specific thematic themes that are important for
Europe’s future strategy. These strategic themes will be achieved through
combinations of scientific disciplines.
